Dr Olaide Omotosho-Ikuru has carved a niche for herself in the field of Preventive Medicine. She runs a very active and innovative health facility called Health Kinect Clinic which is based in Lekki, Lagos.

Her primary focus is women’s health and she is actively involved in health education and health screening for early signs of breast and cervical cancers. Indeed, health education, screening and immunization are Dr Omotosho – Ikuru’s most effective tools. Health Kinect Clinic is also a foremost centre for cryotherapy procedures.

Olaide was educated at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria where she read Medicine and graduated with an MBBS in 1998. She proceeded to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH where she did her housemanship. She then did her National Youth Service in the now defunct NITEL Clinic at Ikoyi, Lagos.

Dr Olaide Omotosho – Ikuru’s experience in practice is wide and varied. She has worked closely with specialties such as obstetrics and gynaecology, peadiatrics and EpNT in hospitals such as  Parklane Specialist Hospital in Surulere, the Children Practice in Ikoyi and Tent of Life Specialist Clinic also in Surulere. She has also worked at the Sickle Cell Foundation of Nigeria, Idi – Araba, Britannia Hospital, Lekki and Paelon Memorial Hospital on Victoria Island, Lagos.

In 2006, Olaide enrolled for a Master’s in Public Health at LUTH graduating in 2007. Today, she is a veritable versatile physician. She is one woman who has greatly impacted the society. She has launched medical missions for the young and old, male and female in the suburbs of Lagos State. She is a prolific speaker who is involved in a lot of counseling activities within and outside her medical practice.

She is married with children.

It is in recognition of her accomplishments in the field of Medicine and Orthodox Medical Practice That Dr (Mrs.) Olaide Omotosho-Ikuru is deemed worthy to be conferred with the Woman of Merit Gold Award which is part of the PSR National Awards 2018.
