Jamila Bolanle Mu’azu is a unique and highly resourceful woman. She has positively impacted many young people in the Nigerian society. She has recorded significant achievements in cosmetology and beauty care, business as well as politics.

Hon. Jamila Mu’azu was educated at the University of Plymouth, United Kingdom where she graduated with double honours in Business Management and Human Resource Management. She is also a trained beauty therapist and cosmetologist and a member of the Guild of Beauty Therapists of the UK (MGBT).

She worked as a human resource personnel in the UK before coming down to Nigeria to work as a business consultant. Afterwards, she established her own businesses.

Hon. Mu’azu made a major contribution to Nigeria’s body and beauty care services industry by establishing Beauty Beseech Spa & Salon in Surulere, Lagos. Beauty Beseech is today a top-rated enterprise. She also established Lavie Boutique.

Beauty Beseech has also been a training centre where many young Nigerians have learnt how to make a living out of the beauty industry.

In her endeavours, her watchword has been: ‘Community First.’ This disposition is obviously what motivated her foray into politics where she has also recorded successes.

It is in recognition of her accomplishments in the field of Beauty Care and Spa Services  that Hon. Jamila Bolanle Mu’azu is deemed worthy to be conferred with the Woman of Merit Gold Award which is part of the PSR National Awards 2018.
