Forbes magazine has declared 23-year-old American, Kendall Jenner as the world’s highest-paid model.

According to the magazine, the ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ actress made $US22.5 million in the last 12 months, said to have been generated from contracts with Estee Lauder, Adidas and Calvin Klein, among others.

Born in Los Angeles, California to retired Olympic decathlete champion, Caitlyn Jenner (previously Bruce Jenner) and television personality, Kris Jenner, Kendall beat fellow supermodel, Karlie Kloss to the top spot on the magazine’s list.

Kloss is said to have earned $US13 million after capitalizing on her hefty social media presence and signing lucrative deals with brands including Swarovski.

The top 10 highest-paid models in the world reportedly made a combined sum $US113 million between June 1, 2017 and June 1 2018, indicating a slight rise from the previous year.

The magazine however said that despite her topping the list of high earners in the modeling world, her gross total earnings could not equal that of her younger sister, Kylie Jenner.

The 21-year-old Kylie reportedly made an estimated $US166.5 million over the same  period, a feat largely attributed to her ‘Kylie Cosmetics’ makeup brand.
