U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry is scheduled to visit Nigeria next week. He will also visit Kenya and Saudi Arabia in his three-nation working tour which will see him holding discussions with government officials of those countries.
The U.S. State Department says Kerry will hold discussions with President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria on co-operation in the fight against Boko Haram, the Nigerian economy and human rights issues.
In Kenya, his discussions will focus on the peace process in South Sudan and the political transition in Somalia. The crisis in Yemen will be the subject of talks between John Kerry, Saudi officials and their counterparts from Gulf Arab states.
