From Berlin, the German capital, President Muhammadu Buhari has fired a reply to his wife, Aisha over her claim that a cabal has hijacked the government. In a BBC Hausa interview, Aisha Buhari had also stated that she will not support her husband in the 2019 election if the current situation does not change.
Asked by reporters about his comment on his wife’s interview, Buhari who was standing side-by-side the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, according to the Associated Press, said: “I don’t know which party my wife belongs to but she belongs to my kitchen, my living room and the other room.
“So I claim superior knowledge over her and the rest of the opposition because in the end I have succeeded.
“It is not easy to satisfy the whole Nigerian opposition party or to participate in government.”
