Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari has said that some saboteurs who specialize in draining the economy of Nigeria have infiltrated the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to destabilize the country.

While speaking at a rally organized by various trade unions in the state on Thursday, Governor Masari said the unnamed persons in the party whom he described as devils were making concerted efforts to frustrate the Federal Government’s drive towards transforming the nation.

“These devils are out to pitch the electorate against the Muhammadu Buhari administration. Since the creation of the country, no government, whether military or civilian has done so much for the ordinary Nigerians than Buhari,” Masari said.

“The enemies of Buhari are the enemies of the people because all Buhari’s programmes are designed to improve the quality of life of the people, especially the ordinary Nigerians.

“We must all be wary of them; they are greedy persons out to cause confusion because of their selfish interests and because they want to continue to loot and there is no room for that,” he added.

While urging all APC governors to remain committed to the ideals of the party, the governor further stated that the battle in the APC was now between those who want development for their people and those who want to enrich themselves against the wishes of the electorates and principles of the party.
