Nigerian Afro-pop star, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known as Wizkid has declared the Republic of Benin his new home after meeting the country’s president, Patrice Talon and performing in Cotonou, the country’s capital.

The 28-year-old Wizkid, who was one of the stars to headline a music festival organized by the country’s Ministry of Tourism , Culture and Sports posted a picture of his meeting with President Talon on his Twitter handle.

“Thank you Mr. President Patrice Talon!! Thank you for the love and Hospitality!,” Wizkid wrote.

He also shared clips from his performance at the three-day festival which also featured other artists like fellow Nigerian star, Davido as well as top artistes from the Republic of Benin.
