Mrs. Imelda Iyayi is the quintessential well-rounded woman. She is trained and skilled in many things and this readily manifests in every endeavour she applies herself to.

Imelda is a graduate of Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. She later trained as a professional web programmer at NIIT. She holds a Diploma in Customer Service. She has a certification in Educational Psychology and she also holds a Diploma in Children Studies. As a professional, she worked as a Flight Service Manager for over six years with Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Nigeria.

As an educationist, she prides herself as a person with love for children. To her, a true school should be born out of love. Not love for an institution but love that continually ‘strives at’ giving the best education possible to children.

With her professional work experience across the globe including the US, Imelda combines her multidisciplinary skills, people management ability, foresight and dedication as a team leader. She is both the pioneer and vision driver at Crème de la Crème Academy, a Montessori pre-school situated in Ikeja GRA.

She is happily married to captain Roland Iyayi and they are blessed with three children.

It is in recognition of her contribution to national development in the area of Management and Development of Education that Mrs. Imelda Iyayi is deemed worthy to be conferred with the Woman of Merit Gold Award which is part of the PSR National Awards 2018.
