Nigeria’s president, Muhammadu Buhari says the life journey of the country’s immediate past president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan remains an inspiration to every youth in the country.
In a statement released by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Chief Femi Adesina in Abuja on Monday to felicitate with Jonathan on his 61st birthday, Buhari said the former president is a role model to anyone whose mission is to make Nigeria great again.
“President Buhari believes the life journey of the former President remains an inspiration to every young Nigerian of the possibilities that await anyone willing to learn, work hard and participate in making the country great,” the statement read in part.
The President also congratulated Dr. Jonathan on the successful publishing of his memoir, ‘My Transition Hours’ which will be launched as part of ceremonies marking his birthday.
He further encouraged all Nigerians to follow the example of sharing their experiences in writing, praying that God will strengthen Jonathan, grant him longer life and bless his family.
