A Moroccan woman has allegedly killed her boyfriend and used his remains to cook a traditional dish which she served to construction workers in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

According to Police authorities in UAE, investigations opened after the victim’s brother found a human tooth in her blender when he went to inquire about his sibling’s whereabouts from her.

Prosecutors say although she had told him they had broken up, his suspicions were aroused and he called in the police. 

During the interrogations, the woman initially denied the crime but she later broke down and said that she had killed him during a moment of insanity.

The Moroccan  also claimed that she had supported the victim during their seven-year relationship only for him to tell her that he was going to marry someone else in his country. 

She reportedly told investigators that she butchered his body and minced it in a blender after which she used the meat to cook ‘Machboos’, a dish made from rice, spices, and lamb.

She is also alleged to have served the meal to a group of construction workers at a nearby site while the leftovers were fed to dogs within her neighbourhood, all in bid get rid of any evidence. 

Although the investigators did not offer details on how she carried out the killing, they said that the woman faces a court date once investigations were completed.
