Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has said the claim by his wife, Aisha that his government has been hijacked by a cabal is her personal business and therefore baseless.
According to a trending video shared on Twitter by one Saleh Shehu Ashaka, a Nigerian journalist with the Voice of America (VOA), President Buhari insisted there was no cabal running his government and he challenged his critics to name one decision taken by the cabal.
“That’s her business. What they are saying is different from what is happening. They should come out and say those things they feel were stage managed by the cabal. What the cabal forced me to do. They should mention just one thing,” Buhari said in the interview he granted the Hausa Service of VOA.
Recall that on December 4 this year, Mrs. Buhari asserted that the president’s administration would have done better if not for two powerful persons in his government who she said did not allow things to move fast.
“I am disappointed in men who rather than fight these two men will go to them in the night begging for favour,” she had said.
