Outgoing Senator representing Bayelsa East Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Ben Murray- Bruce has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to invest in education instead of focusing only on his anti-corruption campaign.
The lawmaker who gave the advice through series of tweets he shared on Sunday, argued that it was the same people who open the doors of schools that also shut the gates of prisons.
“Dear President @MBuhari, Invest in education, not just in anti-corruption. Instead of throwing people in jail, remember that he who opens the doors of a school closes the doors of prisons.
“It is sad that you have built not ONE school. Not even one. Yet you want crime to end?” he querried.
