The main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has told  National Leader of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu that he would soon receive the back seat treatment from members of the ruling party.

The opposition party stated while replying to comments credited to Tinubu that the PDP was making distractive statements because of their loss at this year’s general election.

“Don’t blame them. They are handicapped by the traumatic feelings of the colossal loss of the election,” a statement by the presidency had quoted Tinubu as saying in Saudi Arabia on Monday.

In a statement released on Tuesday by Kola Ologbondiyan, its National Publicity  Secretary, the PDP accused Tinubu of hauling insults at the opposition, urging him not to curry political relevance by attacking them.

The party also maintained that it was an atrocity for the APC chieftain to travel to Saudi Arabia to play dirty politics while others were praying for the country in this period of Ramadan.
