At least seven people have been confirmed dead after a collision between a helicopter and a small plane on the island of Majorca in Spain.
Authorities in Spain’s Balearic Islands which include Majorca said the incident, in which one of the deceased is reported to be a minor, happened at about 11.35 am on Monday.
Private Spanish news agency, Europa Press quoted unidentified local officials as saying that the aircraft crashed into a farm field and that emergency services had arrived the scene.
