President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Mrs Sarah Alade as his Special Adviser on Finance and the Economy.
This was disclosed in a statement by presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu, on Tuesday.
Mrs Alade holds a BSc (Economics) and a PhD in Management Science (Operations Research). She retired from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) as Deputy Governor in 2017 after 23 years with the bank.
She had also acted as Governor of the Central Bank in 2014.
