Nigeria has recorded 501 new cases of the COVID-19 virus.
The latest figure brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 15,682.
The Nigeria Centre for disease control (NCDC) disclosed this via its official twitter handle.

Of the 15,682 cases confirmed, 5,101 have been discharged because they have fully recovered. Unfortunately, 407 people have died due to complications from the virus.
