The Nigerian Senate has passed the N10.85 trillion revised 2020 nationl budget.
The House of Representatives had passed the budget submitted by President Buhari on Wednesday.
A breakdown of the figure shows that the sum of N2,488,789,433,344 is for capital expenditure and recurrent non-debt expenditure has N4,942,269,241,984.
N422,775,979,362 was allocated for statutory transfer, while N2,951,710,000,000 was budgeted for debt servicing.
The budget had been passed in December, 2020 but the coronavirus pandemic forced the federal government to make some adjustments.
Part of the adjustments was the allocation of N100 billion as COVID-19 intervention fund.
