Nigeria has recorded 543 new cases of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 38,344.
The latest figures were disclosed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via its official twitter handle.

Lagos remains the epicentre of the pandemic in the country with 13,806 confirmed cases.
It is followed by the FCT with 3,297 cases and Oyo with 2,219 cases.
