Africa’s most populous nation, Nigeria has recorded 556 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 36,663.

Lagos remains the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria with 13,438 cases recorded, 1,964 recoveries and 176 deaths.
