Nigeria has confirmed 561 new cases of COVID-19 bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 25,694.

This was disclosed on Tuesday night by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in a tweet via its official handle.

9,746 people have so far been discharged and 590 deaths have been recorded.
