The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has disclosed that Nigeria recorded 595 cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 34,854.

The epicentre of infections in Nigeria, Lagos, recorded the highest number of cases for the day with 156 persons infected with the virus while Ondo State was second highest reporting 95 fresh infections.
COVID-19 has killed at least 585,750 globally with 13,660,780 confirmed cases 7,442,700 recoveries. The United States is the most hard-hit country in both infections and deaths recorded.
