Embattled former deputy governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Obadiah Mailafia was Monday afternoon released by the Department of State Services after undergoing over three hours of interrogation at the DSS headquarters in Jos, Plateau State.
Mailafia, who honoured the DSS invitation for the third time in one month, was allowed to go home at about 2: 50 pm, with cheers from his supporters.
Hundreds of supporters had on Monday stormed the West of Mines office of the Department of State Services to witness the grilling of the ex-CBN top official.
This is Mailafia’s third invitation within one month following an interview he granted to a radio station in which he accused an unnamed Northern governor of being the leader of Boko Haram.
