Nigeria on Monday recorded 143 new cases of COVID-19 bringing the total number of cases recorded in the country to 54,008.
The latest figures were disclosed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via its official twitter handle:

Of the number of cases, 41,638 persons have been treated and discharged while 1,013 deaths have been recorded.
