Nigeria on Friday recorded 188 new cases of the novel coronavirus, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country t0 56,071.
Of the 56,071 confirmed cases, 43,998 people have recovered and 1,076 deaths have been recorded.
