The Yaba Magistrates Court, Lagos, on Tuesday, granted bail to detained #EndSARS protester, Eromosele Adene, in the sum of N1m.
The court granted the bail on Tuesday after it rejected a request by the police for an order to detain him for another 30 days, to enable them conclude investigations into the allegations against the defendant.
Eromosele’s lawyer, Tunde Jinadu, had asked the court to grant his client bail on medical ground.
The embattled youth was arrested on November 7 by the police for his involvement in the #EndSARS protest and also on allegations of providing financial support to the movement. Eromosele was arrested in Ikeja and taken to the Lagos State Police Command Headquarters and then transferred to the Area F Command before being detained at the SCID, Panti.
He was earlier flown to Abuja and detained for seven days before being brought back to Lagos on Sunday.
