
Nigeria has held a ceremony to commemorate the 2021 Armed Forces Remembrance Day.
Dignitaries present at the event included Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; President of the Senate, Ahmed Lawan; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila; and the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Tanko Muhammadu, among others.
The Nigerian Armed Forces Remembrance Day is a day set aside to reflect on the significance of the armed forces to the country and to pay tribute to servicemen and veterans.
