Nigeria on Tuesday recorded 1,270 new cases of COVID-19 bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 102,601.
The latest numbers were disclosed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via its official twitter handle.
To date, 102,601 cases have been confirmed, 81,574 cases have been discharged and 1,373 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The 1,270 new cases were reported from 22 states- Lagos (435), FCT (234), Oyo (103), Plateau (86), Rivers (71), Enugu (51), Nasarawa (41), Delta (39), Edo (39), Osun (33), Niger (31), Sokoto (23), Ondo (16), Taraba (13), Ebonyi (12), Kano (10), Abia (9), Bayelsa (8), Bauchi (7), Imo (5), Katsina (3) and Gombe (1).
The latest numbers bring Lagos state total confirmed cases to 37,310, followed by Abuja (13,807), Plateau (5,962), Kaduna (5,817), Oyo (4,426), Rivers (4,011), Edo (3,195), Ogun (2,700), Kano (2,465), Delta (2,021), Ondo (2,006), Katsina (1,690), Enugu (1,506), Kwara (1,495), Gombe (1,457), Ebonyi (1,159), Nasarawa (1,142), Bauchi (1,100), Osun (1,098), and Abia (1,095) .
