The Federal High Court Abuja on Monday adjourned the suit brought by the 12 detained aides of Yoruba nationalist, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, to August 4.
In the suit, the plaintiffs are praying the court to enforce their fundamental human rights which they claim were violated by their arrest and detention by the Department of State Security.
In adjourning the suit, Justice Egwuatu granted the applicants’ lawyer, Pelumi Olagbenjesi, the leave to amend his processes to correct the names of the applicants.
The aides were arrested when DSS officials raided Igboho’s home in Ibadan on July 1.
