Suspected bandits have again attacked two Kaduna villages: Unguwan Maje and Ungwan Laka communities, killed a police inspector and kidnapped 23 others in Chikun Local government area of the State.
The state police Command’s Public Relations Officer, Mohammed Jalige confirmed the attack, adding that operatives of the command had been deployed in the communities.
Jalige couldn’t give details on the number of residents taken away by the bandits, but eyewitnesses say that no fewer than 23 members of the communities were abducted.
