Mrs. Ese Ighomor is a passionate teacher who has contributed immensely to the educational sector in Nigeria. She is a highly accomplished Montessori teacher as well as a school administrator.

Ese Ighomor is the Proprietor of Joethelm Montessori School which is located at Lekki in Lagos. Having undergone effective training and being duly certified in Montessori education, Mrs. Ighomor has made  remarkable success of her school.

Ese was born on March 13, 1983, at Abudu in Edo State. She is however an indigene of Udu in Delta State.

Her early education was at Stepping Stones International Nursery and Primary School, Abudu. She went on to attend Stepping Stones International Secondary School also in Abudu.

She later studied Chemistry/Computer Science at the College of Education Agbor and earned the National Certificate in Education in 2004. Not yet satisfied with her quest for higher education, she proceeded to the University of Calabar. She bagged a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in Environmental Education/Business Education.

In 2011, she took the Infant/Toddler Education Course at Heritage House Montessori. She is currently studying for an MBA (Finance) at Bestower International University, Republic of Benin.

Ese taught at Kids Court Montessori School, Surulere, Lagos. She went on to establish Joethelm Montessori School in 2014.

This hardworking woman is married to Mr. Fred Ighomor, a successful businessman who is an indigene of Igbanke in Edo State. Their marriage is blessed with four wonderful children.

It is in recognition of her accomplishments in the Development, Management and Delivery of Quality Education in Nigeria that Mrs. Ese Ighomor was deemed worthy to be conferred with the Nigerian Achievement Award.
