Mrs. Temitayo Nelson is a multi-skilled and avid finance professional who has distinguished herself by being instrumental to strategic turnaround in organizations she worked with and in various capacities both in Nigeria and in United Kingdom.

Temi, as fondly called by her friends and admirers, has her hands in value delivery across several sectors in the Nigerian economy including oil and gas, audit, consultancy and advisory practice, financial service and banking, manufacturing, automobile, technology and hi-tech. Her fingerprints and presence are felt wherever she served and have delivered strategic restructuring, business process re-engineering, financial performance repositioning as well as operational and business risk management.

Temi has Board and C-Suit experience in medium to large organizations, focusing on revenue optimization, operating efficiency, business growth strategy mapping and people management. In a quest to give back to the economy, she founded Innovision Business Consulting Services, a Management Consulting Practice that caters for SME and MSME in areas of financial management advisory.

She is also the Founder and Co-Shepherd of Boys-to-Men Mission, a self-funded initiative that caters for coaching and mentoring teenage boys to becoming responsible men, fathers and trustworthy leaders of tomorrow. Temi relishes mentoring and impacting her acquired skills and knowledge in others, hence she has many mentees across her career path.

She started her career with Shell Petroleum Development Company and later joined the audit and consultancy practice before she worked with leading Nigerian banks leaving an indelible print on a number of financial service operators. In the United Kingdom, she served in various senior management roles in finance and strategy for automobile, hi-tech, technology and consulting companies.

Temitayo attended the University of Ibadan where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Extension Services and in over two decades, she metamorphosed into an astute finance professional. Temi is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and a Chartered Banker (ACIB). She is an Associate Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA).

She equally bagged the 2019 CIMA Centenary Award as the “Best Performing Student” in the CIMA Strategic Case Study Exams. She is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), a Life Member of Women In Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ) and a conferee of the Woman of Merit Gold Awards (WMGA).

Temi is a registered member of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) and the Information System Audit and Control Association (ISACA). She has over 20 years wealth of professional experience with a quest for upgrading level of operational efficiency towards creating value for all stakeholders everywhere she finds herself.

She is married with children. Her passion for excellence has also rubbed off on her children and thus makes her the proud mother of Mr. Praise Oladimeji Nelson, one of the youngest Certified Software Engineers in APTECH Computer Education. Praise is also among the youngest holders of the professional diploma in Security and Investment from the Chartered Institute of Stock Brokers, Nigeria.

It is in recognition of her accomplishments in Corporate Management and Accounting that Mrs. Temitayo Oluwaseun Nelson was deemed worthy to be conferred with the Nigerian Achievement Award.
