President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of a new Board of Directors and management team to oversee the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

Spokesperson Ajuri Ngelale announced the appointments on Tuesday, stating they take immediate effect.

The NDDC oversees development and environmental programs in oil-producing Niger Delta states. Tinubu tasked the new appointees with ensuring successful administration and advancing his Renewed Hope agenda.

Delta State’s Chiedu Ebie will serve as the NDDC’s Board Chairman. Bayelsa’s Samuel Ogbuku was named Managing Director and CEO.
