Celebrity figure and popular crossdresser, Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye, famously known as Bobrisky, has made an appearance at the Federal High Court in Lagos for his scheduled arraignment. Bobrisky was brought to the court premises in a white bus by officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at 9:12 a.m.
As of the time of this report, Bobrisky remains inside the bus, with proceedings awaiting his arraignment. The trial judge, Justice Abimbola Awogboro, is currently presiding over other cases, with Bobrisky’s case listed as No. 10 on the court’s docket.
Bobrisky’s arrest by the EFCC on Wednesday has led to a six-count charge being brought against him, alleging naira abuse and money laundering.
