In a stunning development, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has officially declared former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, wanted for his alleged involvement in economic and financial crimes.
The announcement was made through a notice posted on the commission’s official Facebook page on Thursday, sending shockwaves through political circles and the public at large.
The notice unequivocally states that Bello is wanted by the EFCC for offences related to economic and financial crimes, with an estimated sum of N80.2 billion involved.
In light of this declaration, the EFCC has called upon anyone with pertinent information regarding Bello’s whereabouts to come forward immediately. Individuals are urged to report such information either directly to the EFCC or to the nearest police station.
