On Wednesday, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) initiated the airlift of election materials for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to Benin, Edo State, in preparation for the governorship election scheduled for September 21, 2024.
Group Captain Kabiru Ali, Deputy Director of Public Relations and Information, issued a statement affirming that the airlift operation is part of a comprehensive strategy to ensure the timely and secure delivery of sensitive materials crucial for the election’s smooth conduct.
