President Bola Tinubu is set to leave Abuja on Wednesday for a two-week vacation in the United Kingdom. The trip forms part of his annual leave, as disclosed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, in a statement titled “President Tinubu Goes on Annual Leave.”
During the break, Tinubu will engage in a working vacation and retreat to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms. “He will use the two weeks as a working vacation and a retreat to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms,” the statement read. The President is expected to return to Nigeria at the conclusion of his leave.
The trip to the UK comes just two weeks after Tinubu’s previous visit to London, where he met with King Charles III. This marks his 27th foreign trip since assuming office about 16 months ago and his fourth visit to the United Kingdom.
