The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has issued a wanted notice for nine individuals linked to terrorism and violent extremism activities in Nigeria’s North East. The announcement was made by Major General Edward Buba, Director of Defence Media Operations, during a briefing at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja.
The individuals named are Abu Khadijah, Abur Rahman, Dadi Gumba, Abu Yusuf, Musa Wa’a, Usman Kanin Shehu, Ibrahim Suyeka, Ba Sulhu, and Idris Taklakse. All are reportedly from the North East region, where insurgent activities have escalated in recent years.
The DHQ’s action underscores its commitment to addressing security threats in the region. The Defence Headquarters urges the public to assist by providing any relevant information that may lead to the apprehension of these suspects.
