Mrs. Modupe Layole Adesote is the Chief Executive Officer of Layole and Sons Hospital in Ifako-Ijaiye, Lagos, drawing on over 30 years of UK medical experience. With qualifications in SRN, RMN, ENB998, and a degree in Psychology from the UK, she blends academic excellence with extensive clinical skills.

In the UK, she was a registered nurse and led a department at Princess Grace Hospital for 13 years. Inspired to give back, she returned to Nigeria to establish Layole Hospital, named after her cherished pet name, with a vision of providing exceptional healthcare.

Under her leadership, Layole and Sons Hospital has become a trusted centre for primary, maternal, child, and surgical care. It addresses diverse community needs and is equipped with modern ECG services, a well-equipped lab, a surgical theatre, and a dedicated labour room. Known for its success in infertility treatment, the hospital recently helped a woman conceive after 19 years of marriage, showcasing the compassionate care it offers.

Renowned for its welcoming atmosphere and patient-centred approach, Layole Hospital emphasizes quality care standards and a comforting environment. Despite significant personal challenges, including the loss of her husband shortly after founding the hospital, Mrs. Adesote has shown remarkable resilience. She finds strength in her faith and is supported by her children, who reside in the UK, as she continues to expand the hospital’s services and envisions collaborations to enhance breast cancer treatment.

Beyond healthcare, she is also the founder of Ray Dazzle Cosmetics Limited, a hair products factory dedicated to promoting hair health, demonstrating her commitment to improving lives both within and beyond the medical field.

It was in recognition of her contribution to nation building in the area of Health Facility Development And Management in Nigeria that Mrs. Modupe Layole Adesote was deemed worthy to be conferred with the Woman of Merit Gold Award.
