Mrs. Modupeore Deborah Abodunrin is an accomplished teacher and educational administrator. She founded TSI Nursery and Primary School and TSI College, which are all based in Lagos.

Born on September 30, 1971, in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, Modupeore hails from a Christian family of Deacon Ezekiel Babatunde and Deaconess Florence Babatunde.

She began her educational journey at St. Andrew’s College of Education (now Bishop Ajayi Crowther University), graduating with a National Certificate in Education (NCE) in 1991. She then worked at Universal Trust Bank from 1992 to 1994.

She sought further knowledge and enrolled at the University of Ibadan, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Management in 1997. She later obtained a Master’s degree in Personnel Management (M.Ed.) from the same institution in 1999, graduating at the top of her class.

In 1998, Mrs. Abodunrin joined the Oyo State Ministry of Education as a teacher, starting at Ikolaba Grammar School, GRA, Ibadan. After relocating to Lagos in 2001, she founded Treasure Stars Child Care Centre in 2010, which has since expanded to occupy two large buildings. As the Visioner and Founder of TSI Nursery and Primary School and TSI College, Mrs. Abodunrin is affectionately known as “Mummy Treasure.”

Modupeore married Mr. Olusola Abodunrin in year 2000, and they are blessed with Godly children. A devoted wife, mother, and educationist, she prioritizes her family and faith. In her free time, she enjoys reading, singing, and dancing.

Committed to excellence, Mrs. Abodunrin has attended numerous training sessions and seminars locally and internationally. Her dedication to education and child development has earned her recognition as a role model and lover of children.

It was in recognition of her immense contribution to national development in the area of Development, Management and Delivery of Quality Education in Nigeria that Mrs. Modupeore Deborah Abodunrin was found worthy to be conferred with the Woman of Merit Gold Award.
