After a 32 year battle with Parkinson’s disease, boxing legend, Muhammad Ali, dies at 74 in a Phoenix hospital where he was treated for respiratory complications.

The three-time World Heavyweight Champion born Cassius Marcellus Clay, Jr., will be buried in his hometown in Louisville, Kentucky.

Moments before he died, Ali’s daughter, Laila, took to the social media and posted a throwback photograph of her father with her daughter. She said:

“I love this photo of my father and my daughter Sydney when she was a baby!

Thanks for all the love and well wishes. I feel your love and appreciate it!!”

Several celebrities have expressed sadness over the news including renown boxers such as Oscar De La Hoya, Mike Tyson,  and George Foreman whom Ali defeated in an epic battle in D.R. Congo (then Zaire).
