Ruth Olomu earned her Bachelor of Law (LLB) from the prestigious University of Benin, followed by her call to the Nigerian Bar in 1998 after excelling at the Nigerian Law School. Driven by her passion for teaching, she obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the University of Port Harcourt and a Certificate in Special Needs Education. She has also attended numerous high-impact short courses, seminars, and international exhibitions in business management and advanced educational methodologies, continually sharpening her expertise to lead at the forefront of holistic child development.

Ruth’s diverse career showcases remarkable versatility and impact. She began as Company Legal Secretary and Deputy Head of Chambers at the esteemed Law Firm of Uzamere & Co., followed by key administrative roles as Executive Assistant at Vesta Healthcare Partners and Service Manager at Outreach Group.

Her defining moment in healthcare came as the Pioneer Foundation Manager at Anu Dosekun Healthcare Foundation, where she conceptualised and successfully executed the first-ever Jaundice in Babies Awareness Campaign in sub-Saharan Africa, proudly sponsored by the Heineken Africa Foundation, Amsterdam. This groundbreaking initiative saved infant lives and ignited her lifelong love for working with children.

Today, as Chief Executive Officer and School Director of Dawnfield Montessori School, Lagos, Ruth leads a world-class institution that champions the Montessori philosophy—blending academic excellence with the nurturing of noble virtues, emotional intelligence, and special needs inclusion. Under her leadership, Dawnfield has become a beacon of transformative early childhood education, producing confident, compassionate, and morally grounded future leaders.

A devoted Christian and loving mother, Ruth finds joy in reading and listening to gospel music. Her faith remains the cornerstone of her purpose-driven life, inspiring every endeavour with grace and humility. In 2024, she received the prestigious People & Power Women of Merit Gold Award in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the development, management, and delivery of quality education.
