After a 2-2 draw in the match between Croatia and Czech Republic this evening, angry Croatia fans began to throw flares and riot in the stadium.

Croatia initially led the game by a two goal advantage by the boots of Ivan Perisic and Ivan Rakitic. Perisic’s first half goal was a left-boot shot that defeated Petr Cech and Rakitic made a colourful lob over the same goalie in the second half.

A fine header from Milan Skoda in the second half gave the Czechs hope. That hope turned into faith in the 94th minute after a penalty kick by Necid made the game a tie.

The Croatia fans were sickened by the equalizer and  could not control their emotions. They got into physical rounds with the stewards and lit up the pitch with red flares. Croatia still has the top spot in the group with 4 points and Spain is next with 3.
