The death toll of the bombings at the 11th busiest airport in the world, the Istanbul Ataturk has climbed to 41. The terror incident carried out last night by three suicide bombers also injured 239 others out of which 138 are still hospitalised.
A Turkish official has confirmed that of the 41 killed, there were 14 foreigners including six Saudis, two Iraqis, one Tunisian, one Chinese, one Iranian, one Ukrainian, one Jordanian and a person from Uzbekistan.
Normal operations resumed at the airport today amidst blood and debris from the blasts. Security was immensely tightened as vehicles were thoroughly scrutinized before gaining access into the airport. Who is behind the bombing is still a mystery but all fingers point at the terrorist group, ISIS.
