Mrs Eunice Olawale Elisha, the pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God who was gruesomely murdered at Gbazango-West in Kubwa, Abuja while preaching in the morning is to be buried on July 23. The date which was disclosed by her brother, Mr Akin Oluwadare, coincides with her birthday.
The 42-year-old mother of seven, according to the brother, will be buried at Gudu Cemetery in Abuja on Saturday. That will be after a Christian wake keep service which will hold on Friday, July 22 at the Redeemed Christian Church of God’s Provincial Headquarters at Phase Three, Kubwa.
The young pastor is believed, given the circumstances surrounding her death, to have been murdered by some Islamic fundamentalists. The Police in Abuja claims to have made six arrests in connection with her death but says investigations are still on.
