Nigerian Army Headquarters last night said key Boko Haram commanders have been killed in a raid by the Nigerian Air Force.
The Army also said Abubakar Shekau, leader of the insurgents was ‘fatally wounded.’
This morning, the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA gave the names of the commanders killed as Mubi, Nuhu and Hamman. The Nigerian Air Force on its part has said that it killed over 300 insurgents in an unprecedented air raid in parts of Borno State.
