An irate mob which claimed to be defending Islam and redressing a blasphemy against Prophet Muhammed yesterday killed eight people in the town of Talata Mafara in Zamfara State.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria, the tragedy started at the Abdu Gusau Polytechnic which is located in the town. A student of the institution was said to have made blasphemous comments against Islam and Prophet Muhammed which enraged some muslims.
