Seyi, one of the sons of prominent Nigerian politician and former governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu today wedded beautiful Layal J. Holm in Lagos. An engagement party followed at the palace of the Oba of Lagos, Alhaji Rilwan Akiolu.
The reception attracted many high-profile personalities including former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, Oba of Lagos, Alhaji Rilwan Akiolu and of course the father of the groom, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu.
Governor Ambode who was also at the reception, had this to say on his Twitter handle: “I specially congratulate Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his son’s wedding ceremony. We wish Seyi Tinubu and his bride a happy married life.”
Seyi Tinubu graduated from the University of Buckingham in the United Kingdom with a degree in Law. He earned a Masters degree in Corporate & Comerical Law from the same university.
Layal J. Holm is the daughter of both Nigerian and Lebanese parents. She graduated from the School of Oriental Studies, University of London with a degree in Political Science and African Studies. She also has a Masters degree in Enterpreneurship and Business Management from the University of Surrey.
The duo had their engagement in November last year in Ghana.
