Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki has restated his belief that the Federal Government under President Muhammadu Buhari could do far better in its quest to revive the Nigerian economy by looking beyond the members of his ruling All Progressives Congress for solutions.
Saraki thinks Buhari should get the best Nigeria can offer even if they come from the opposition to work on the economy. On his Twitter handle on September 12, he stated: “We need all our best economic minds on board. This recession exists across party lines. It does not know APC or PDP.”
Still referring to Nigeria’s economic downturn and the quest for solutions he tweeted: “It’s easy to discuss the cause of the recession. When Senate returns we will discuss the solutions.”
