The Brooklyn Nets are preparing to honour the late iconic rapper, Christopher Wallace aka Notorious BIG on Sunday night when the the New York Knicks come visiting.

Thursday, the 9th marked the 20th anniversary of the death of the Brooklyn legend and the Nets are putting final touches to host the “Biggie Night,” an event that aims at paying tribute to the hip hop icon.

The Barclays Centre, home of the Nets, will play the rapper’s songs before games and at half time, an act which has been a feature of Nets’ games since the franchise moved to Brooklyn in 2012.

Expected to attend the event are Sean “Diddy” Combs (Puff Daddy); BIG’s mother, Voletta Wallace; his children, T’Yanna and CJ Wallace; producer cum TV presenter, Wayne Barrow as well as Mark Pitts who is President of  Urban MSusic at RCA Records.
