Barely 48 hours after 7 persons were reportedly killed in separate suicide attacks in Maiduguri, three suicide bomb attacks in Muna community of Maiduguri, has claimed another 5 lives and injured 11 others.
The attacks which occurred simultaneously at Muna Usmanti, Muna Garage and Muna Ethiopia at about 4:11am Wednesday morning, left inhabitants of the affected communities scampering for safety.
According to officials of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), among the dead persons include 4 suicide bombers and a civilian JTF.
The injured persons have since been taken to the Maiduguri General hospital for treatment while the remains of the dead have been deposited at the mortuary by NEMA emergency response officials.
